Invitation to German-Luxembourgian INTERREG V B NWE ReNu2Farm demonstration event

The Interreg Northwest Europe Project – ReNu2Farm [Nutrient Recycling from pilot production to farms and fields] is organising a German-Luxembourgian online demonstration event on 01.07.2021 from 19.30 – 21.00 for stakeholders from agriculture, biogas sector, fertiliser production & distribution companies and interested parties.

The aim is to present current findings on the production, plant availability, marketing and acceptance of organically recycled fertilisers from residues (RDF) of different origins. We would like to discuss your experiences and needs during the event.

The online event is organised by the project partners SoilConcept s.a.r.l (Luxembourg) and IZES gGmbH (Saarland) and includes the following topics:

Overview of the RDF investigated in the project and their legal framework for use and marketing in Northwest Europe.

Insights into the demand and acceptance of RDF in Northwest Europe (survey of over 1,200 farmers)

Experiences with RDF production from the producer’s point of view using the example of Soil Concept s.a.r.l. (ash/ green waste/ sewage sludge compost containing phosphorus; nitrogen and potassium from fermentation residues)
