F-CUBED members gathered together for the consortium meeting

The first day consisted of a brief introductory meeting followed by a tour of the F-CUBED pilot plant at the Delafruit facility in La Selva del Camp where the treatment of orange peels is currently being conducted. For many partners it was the first time that they were able to witness first-hand the operation of the TORWASH reactor and Limburg Filter filter press.

On the second day, each work package leader gave a presentation detailing the work performed to date and upcoming activities. The main focus of the meeting were the results from the two pilot tests conducted on paper sludge and olive pomace, the ongoing work of the life cycle and value chain assessments and the subsequent dissemination strategy.

It is clear that all team members thoroughly enjoyed the face-to-face meeting and are all excited about moving the project forward and publishing the results of the long duration tests.
