Greening contaminated lands: hemp as a tool for soil restoration
Industrial hemp is an environmentally friendly and fast-growing crop that has been receiving renewed attention from various industrial sectors in recent years. The construction and manufacturing industries are showing growing interest in applications for hemp, such as insulation material, composites, and textiles.
But hemp can also be considered as a tool for greening contaminated lands and for soil restoration. This topic will be presented and discussed during an interactive webinar organised by the VLAIO Living Lab Hennep+ and the Biorefine Cluster Europe.
