Decentralised Wastewater Treatment European Summit

Save the date! On 10 and 11 November, in Vigo (Spain), the Decentralised Wastewater Treatment European Summit will be held. The event is organised by Run4Life, as one of the final dissemination activities before the end of the project. Project partners Aqualia, ZFV and USC are organising the event, with input of a scientific committee formed by Aqualia, ZFV, WUR, LeAF and USC.

During the DWTES, the point of view of experts from all over the world about decentralised treatment will be discussed with stakeholders and water authorities. The event will be divided in 2 days, the first devoted to the technical aspects of decentralization, with the presence of experts from Germany, Sweden, The Netherlands, USA, Switzerland, Belgium and Spain. The second day will focus on exploring the social, environmental and architectural aspects. Results and success stories from Run4Life and other projects will be explained, demonstrating the potential of decentralised treatment in an circular economy approach.

The event is organised as a physical event in Vigo, with the possibility of following it online by streaming. Keep an eye on the Run4Life website (https://run4life-project.eu), LinkedIn and Twitter channels as the final programme will soon be made available.
