6th European Sustainable Phosphorus Conference (ESPC6)

The 6th European Sustainable Phosphorus Conference (ESPC6) is the world's leading conference dedicated to sustainable phosphorus management, bringing together policymakers, researchers, industry representatives, and practitioners to discuss the future of phosphorus in a circular economy. Organised by the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform (ESPP) in collaboration with OCP Group and supported by Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique (UM6P), the conference will take place from 24 to 26 November 2026 in Benguerir, Morocco.

The programme will explore key topics including phosphorus recovery and recycling, sustainable fertilisers, climate change interactions, phosphorus stewardship, sustainable mining and processing, and innovations supporting resilient food systems and resource efficiency. Participants will also have the opportunity to join a technical site visit to an OCP phosphate mining and processing facility and engage with experts from across the phosphorus value chain.

ESPC6 offers an excellent networking platform for stakeholders working on nutrient recovery, circular bioeconomy, water management, agriculture, and resource sustainability. Researchers, technology developers, policymakers, and industry professionals are encouraged to attend and contribute to advancing sustainable phosphorus solutions.
