NutriCycle

This project focused on the recovery of nutrients from manure and digestate and their reuse as green fertilizer substitutes, and therefore fit within the Cradle to Cradle philosophy.

NutriCycle contributed to the sustainable development of industrial livestock farming and bio-fermentation as renewable (energy) technology in Flanders. In the first place, the project had a technological approach, but attention was also paid to the legal framework and the marketing.
