Policy makers

The path to circularity...

The transition towards more circularity involves the collaboration between (i) researchers / developers of new strategies & technologies, (ii) agricultural and industrial actors, implementing these solutions and (iii) policy makers that provide the legal framework in which to operate.

Many, if not most, of the current legislation is still written in the current economic reality of a linear and fossil resource based society. The legal framework – both at European level and local, national level – requires adaptation and policy makers need to set goals and facilitate / incentivize the agricultural and industrial market participants to reach these goals.

An intro to circular economy

The strive towards circular economy is no longer a message that is solely told by ecological activists, but also holds the manifest scientific, political economic reality that many of our resources are depleting.
