Save the date: ManuREsource 2017

On 27 and 28 November 2017, the third edition of the ManuREsource conference will take place in Eindhoven. A facultative field trip with exclusive site visits to local manure processing installations will be organised on 29 November 2017.

As the establishment of a Circular Economy becomes more and more urgent, the central theme of the 3rd edition of ManuREsource is the transition in manure management. Manure management is moving rapidly away from a problem-solving situation towards an opportunities-driven approach. The possibilities to create value from manure are plenty, and can turn a manure surplus in one region into an opportunity in another region. Manure valorisation can therefore be a frontrunner of the circular economy. Besides, the core concept where the ManuREsource series is well known for, i.e., exchanging experiences and knowledge between European regions on effective policy measures dealing with manure surplus and innovations in manure treatment technologies, remains the same.

This year, ManuREsource will be organised in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) together with the local hosting partner, the Nutrient Platform (The Netherlands), as both The Netherlands and Flanders cope with a manure surplus.

After two successful editions, ManuREsource is becoming a well-established conference within the sector of manure management and valorization. For the third edition, an even larger attendance of leading representatives of regulatory agencies, administrations, agricultural and environmental agencies, research institutes, technology supply industries, agro-industries and consultancy is expected, because of the additional experience and network of local hosting partner NNP. ManuREsource is a great opportunity to get to know the players in the field of manure management and valorisation from all over the world!
